Valentina Franz, known as VALLI (*1989, Basel), is a Swiss and Italian visual artist working across painting, collage and photography. Her work follows colour, perception, memory and emotion, turning personal experience and outside influences into new visual worlds.

Singing, contemporary dance and a strong sense for design shape her feeling for rhythm, movement and composition. A five year specialisation in Visual Arts, followed by studies in business and cultural management and a career in marketing, communications and change management, gave her a wide perspective on how art, design and culture connect. Fluent in German, English, French and Italian, she moves easily between cultures. Her practice stays open, curious and in motion.
